I also have the 318 and I wonder if 2.25" pipes are worth the change. I did some calculating and if I go to a dual 2.25" inch system from the muffler back in the place of the single 3" my truck came with, it would only increase my flow by 11%. However, going to dual 2.5" pipes will increase my flow by 25% over my current 3" pipe. Wouldn't it make more sense to go to 2.5" inch pipes? The 2.25" pipes don't seem to make much of an improvement over the stock flow.
