Was driving to work this morning and Mann when braking at about 60 mph I'm getting a real bad pulsation, and it seems like the whole back end bounces. It scares me. But I do have knew drums and shoes in the back.. But maybe I need to look harder at them.

Just reading the bed-in process , have not done this but I haven't been too hard on it either.

I am planning to look at the back brakes more closely. Then the front. I have to digital caliber on it anyways. Cause when are you leaving? Braking from like above 40 say 60 and looking in rear view mirror you ca literally see the bed of the truck bounce/shake

Didn't you replace the drums, or have them turned? Did you replace the shoes?

When I bought my truck, the rears were down to the rivets, and stepping on the brakes would cause all manner of shakes and rattles... replaced the rears, and all was good.

I had replace the drums and had turned them on the new set. New shoes and all.... and at the same time put new pad on front and had either turned them or replaced if they werent able to turn. I did switch to ceramics on the truck which i think it grabs harder..I would think front and back are straight forward... I had done it many of times. But just can't figure this out.

My 98 would have a pretty bad pulse/bob from the back brakes. Never looked into it before I sold it.

Most brake pulsation is from DTV, NOT warped rotors, even if there is runout from the factory.
