Default posilock

The posilock is the way to go. You can still have the 2 wheel low just don't engage the posilock to the front wheels. I did instill one in my 99 ram and I love it. Nevver a problem again

Posilock is the same damn thing.
You're just adding something else to fail.

So posilock can be engaged by the flip of a switch? I don't want a pull cable... Period.

So run some lines, and get a vacuum switch. The older (late 70's early 80's) jeeps used them to control the t-case.

Okay there we go, now some info... Thanks HeyYou! I'd read someone mentioning it but they didn't seem to know any particulars. Ford evidently uses the same system...

I think the older cherokees with quadratrack had the emergency drive switch in the back of the glove box. It was a vacuum switch. If you can find one, it would probably do the trick nicely. (and that is a rather interesting idea...... )
