I am having my truck repainted and I would like to lift it also, How far can I lift the truck with a lift kit before I have to change any suspension or steering parts, and what are the widest wheels it can accompany, or I should use?

 

3" without Delving into control arms, track bars, and drop pitman arms....

3" will get you 33s easy. no more than 12.50" wide is what i would go with 4" or 4.5" backspacing on the rims.
