Default 3/4 ton coil on 1/2 ton with spacer?

I have a 97 Dodge Ram. Has 3 inch spacer on front and add a leaf and blocks on rear. Rear sits about 2 inches higher than front so i was thinking about adding a set of cummins coil spring to get the 2 - 3 inches i need to level it out however i have read that over 3 inches you need to mess with the steering. So the question stands do i need to mess with the steering and if so what are my options? Thank You.

You would need longer upper and lower control arms, drop pitman arm, some flavor of track bar bracket or an adjustable one and other parts.
