Default Whining noise while turning

I have a 2001 1500 4x4 and when I turn from a stop or low speed, I hear a "whirring" noise, like "whir, whir, whir whir". When I go faster or straighten out, it goes away. Any thoughts?

Got the LSD rear end? If so, have the right fluid in there?

Any idea where the noise is coming from? (front? back? other?)

Yeah, its from the rear. Must be the diff. I'll check the fluid I guess. Just bought it with 85k on it.
