Nope. Unless there is some dealer black magic crap, but I doubt it.

Your truck also likely has the death flash.

You done your plenum yet?

I had bought mine at walmart.

Unless you're running a tuner or are pinging with the stock Champions, don't bother. They were dyno'd a long time ago on a modified Dak R/T with the 360 and they had a 5 HP increase, but like I said, that was on a modified truck.

Awww hell.

Double platinum is a double timing retard!

Seriously. Platinum plugs in these engines act as a timing retard, they don't allow the full power of the ignition system to do its job.

I think dropping stock Champion coppers in there will give you a nice boost. If you're going to run a cooler plug (that's what the 3923 is, cooler plug with a shorter nose), run the 5223. Same length nose as the stockers but a cooler heat range.

I bet it's an entirely new truck with the new plugs in it.

I know that my truck had Autolite 5224 platinum plugs in it when I bought it. It ran okay, but felt held back. Pulled the plugs and most of them were fouled up with hard crusty junk from the lack of ignition power. New plugs and wires and it was completely different truck.

Are you sure they don't "have" them and it's not just that they won't give them to you?

Because most auto store dolts only go by what the computer says. If you give them a part number and tell them to go get it (CHOP CHOP, BOY!), they will get it for you.

At least in my experience.
