Sorry about that I think I hit the wrong button when I was answering somebody's question on my original post. I'll find out this afternoon if I have good spark or not by doing some tests. I hope it's something simple the truck been running too good for to be something serious I hope

Smile Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor

Thanks for the info today guys. It was the coil. Next time I will start there first. It is still not as smooth as it used to be. I need to replace the MAP sensor. That should be all.

Unless you know MAP is bad , don't replace it until you disconnect the negative battery cable for a few minutes, reconnect and drive it a couple days and let the pcm relearn.

It pulled a code after I put the new coil on. I had the battery disconnected. So I should reset it drive it for a few days and see if it will come back on?

Yea I would before spending more money, and also check the vac line going to it. Check all your vac lines for that matter.

Alright I check all the vacuum lines everything looks good. After resetting the codes with my reader and making sure that I disconnected the battery terminals turn the lights on and waited for 15 minutes. I Took it for test drive the code came back, it is still saying that it's the map sensor. Also it's not want to go in overdrive for some reason, could the map sensor Cause that happens. Looks like I'm taking it back to the shop that rebuilt the transmission for me.

Map sensor shouldn't have anything to do with O/D.

Do you think I could've got something out of adjustment when I took the throttle body off?

Nothing on the T/B should prevent the shift into O/D.... unless the TV cable is WAY to tight....... (passenger side, the one coming in from the rear of the engine.)

Did you check the vac line going to the CC servo under the battery? That could possibly be effecting both things. As they both use vacuum.
