Guys can anybody help me out I'm trying to locate the sensor and I'm having a tough time finding it. Alldata says it's near the flywheel near the starter but I can't find it, does our trucks have one? The Truck would not start this morning.
Ok it's on the pass side of the motor, behind the head in a real fun spot to get to. Hand work only use a mirror to see it if you need to. On the back of the motor in the middle is the dizzy, next to the left is the oil psi sending unit, next left is the CKPS. Have fun and take your time.

Wanted to give you guys an update on what I did to my truck. When out and try to start my truck yesterday morning and it would not start. After reading the forms and doing some research I decided to change the crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor, And I change out all the spark plugs changed the distributor cap and the rotary button. While I had everything apart I even took the throttle body apart and cleaned it. Also made sure the fuel pump is working. This morning I'm in a check the coil to make sure it's fine. I ran out of day light. I'm at a loss why this thing is not firing up. Any suggestions on what to look for will be greatly appreciated. The spark plug were extremely wet when I change them out yesterday.

Flooding out? When you try and start the truck, stomp the gas pedal to the floor, and hold it there. See if it will start. (at which point, let up on the gas..... no launching engine parts for you today.)
Before doing that though.... check the connection at the temp sensor up by the thermostat housing. (not sure which side it will be on.) When those fail, the PCM thinks its -40 degrees, and positively DUMPS gas into the cylinders. (holding the gas pedal to the floor while cranking puts the PCM in 'clear flood' mode, so it seriously dials back the amount it shoots....)

Heyyou I appreciate the input and suggestions. I tried what you suggested this morning and still no luck. I was reading in the service manual this morning and I could not find how to test to see if the ignition call is good or bad. Called the local parts store and for the price of a new coil, I'm going ahead and replace it as well as the temperature sensor. If this doesn't work I don't know what to do. Once I replace the temp sensors and the coil would you use starter fluid to see if I can forced to the truck to start?

See if you are getting spark to any cylinders. If not, see if you are getting power to the coil while cranking. If not, see if you are getting power to injectors while cranking. If not, replace ASD relay. (just swap it with the horn relay, and see if that changes anything.)
