Default Problems starting a Dodge Ram 1500, 5.2L, Year 1999

Hi!
I have a Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L V8, Year 1999, and I'm having some problems to start it.
First, I started it in the morning perfect, and then, after driving and stoppping it for more than 10 minutes, it would take more time to start again. But it would start perfectly in the morning.
Now, is failing even to start in the morning: I need to try two or three times, and when it starts, it is slow, "heavy", and after a few seconds with low RPM (less than 500), it gets better. Also, when it first starts, it is thorwing white smoke that smells like gasoline, but just one cloud that last 1-3 secs, and then it stop and it feels perfect and driveability is perfect.

So I got an OBD scan tool and it doesn't shows any pending code, but when runing the Mode $06 test, it show the next report:

Test report:
------------------
TID:$11 CID:$01
-
Min: 56
Test result value: 14
FAIL
----

Looking around, it looks like TID $11 is for O2 sensor 1/1, or at least it is for 97 and 98 models.
Con anyone confirm is it is the same for the 1999 1500 5.2L V8 RAM? Should I replaced the Bank 1 Socket 1 O2 sensor? Any other suggestion to fix this problem?

I have already changed sparks, air filter, and the electirc start engine, but is still failing. Someone suggested also to change the cranckshaft sensor, but I don't want to keep throwing parts... Any ideas?

Thanks a lot in advanced!

If you have over 85000 miles on the truck, changing the O2 sensor sure won't hurt... I would check fuel pressure though, and see what that looks like. I also recommend you have a look at the plenum thread stickied at the top of the forum I am going to move this thread to.
