Default Shocks and leaf springs

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD extended cab with a 5.9. I am running 285/70/R15s all terrain 10 ply tires. Looking for a smoother ride...what would be a good shock to put on front and back?

If I put 600lbs of weight in the back of my truck, should it be sagging that much? I am trying to figure out if I need new leaf springs in the rear.
