95 ram 1500 sport
I have a 95 1500 5.9 single cab. Sometimes, while accelerating or while at an idle it will sputter as if it wants to shut off. The only thing i can do to prevent it from shutting off is to accelerate more.....any idea what might be causing this?

could be a vacuum leak, either one of the many hoses attached to the intake, or the stupid plenum. or, it might need plugs, wires, cap, and rotor.
check all the hoses for cracks or breaks. if nothing is obvious, label all the hoses and temporarily remove them and cap off the ports on the intake. if it runs better, add them back one at a time. caution - no power brakes.
