Default Speaker Issues

So about a year ago, I replaced the front speakers in my truck with aftermarket JVC's. They sound a whole lot better and I've been pretty content with them. Now lately, the driver side speaker has been cutting out and rarely works. I knew the speaker wasn't blown because it doesn't sound anything like that at all. It seems that if the volume or bass is too high, the speaker cuts out and it takes weeks for it to crackle back in. I thought that maybe that specific channel on the radio was bad so I swapped radios with my dad. He has a '94 Dodge Shadow with the same radio so I changed 'em around. His speakers all worked fine and I still had the same issue. Do you think the wires are going between the speaker and the radio? Or is it just a bad connection to the speaker?

Oh and does anybody know a decent flip-out screen radio to use?

Your speaker is cracked. lol

Partially blown out. I've got a DDR machine with a similar problem, I can press on it and it comes back, but too much midrange (it's a midrange speaker, got tweeters and 2 12" subs on this machine) and it quits.

You'd have to pull the door panel and see what's up....

If you have to replace them, go with Alpines off amazon. I heard good reviews on them and plan on getting a set of front ones soon.

And maybe a set of Alpine 6.5" ones for the rear if I can somehow make them fit.

Alpine FTW +100000

In terms of price vs the quality you get they cannot be beat
