Default Superchips Flashpaq question

I recently bought the Superchips FLashpaq for our trucks.

Comes with 4 tunes, 91 performance, 87 octane, "Tow" and Milage XS SAVE

Im wondering if anyone else has tried this tuner before?

Ive been running a tank of 91 Octane with the 91 Performance tune installed and the Power increase is awesome!!! However my milage has suffered quite a bit...Not sure if thats due to the tune, or me constantly putting my boot to the floor

Was thinking of putting the Milage XS Save tune on, has anyone had any experience with this? What kind of MPG gains can be expected?

I had one , and loved it. Put the 87 tune in and drive it normal. The boot along with the 91 tune is not going to help mpg's,

Tow tune is the best, IMO. Mileage tune stinks. Makes the truck a complete dog and you lose any gains because you have to keep the pedal floored to get anywhere.

LOL I hear you, but after having the "Deathflash" for the last year and getting used to that...Its so hard having all this power now! Its like a brand new engine!!

Any reason why the 87 Tune over the Milage one? My understanding was that the 87 tune was to make vehicles that run on higher grades of fuel safley run in 87? I could be wrong.

The 87 tune just removes the deathflash and turns up the ignition timing a bit.

Jkeaton hit the nail on the head when he said the mileage tune just makes the truck a dog. I think it retards ignition timing and alters shift points in favor of mileage.

I have noticed my mileage is actually less with the mileage XS tune than with stock. Best results have been with the 87 tune.

I would like to get one and compare it to my SCT dealing with performance with just bolt ons.
