Default Quad Lamp HID Question

Ok so I got a question for those of you who know a lot about HIDs. I have an 01’ Sport and I had ordered a Bi-Xenon HID kit. However my truck has the quad headlamps. Do the high and low beams run off two different bulbs in the housing? Or will I be able to use the single HID bulb for both HI/Low beams?

Don't run HID's in a halogen housing thats unsafe and dangerous to other drivers. Get proper housings and do it right. Yes they run off both bulbs, regular beams when you turn the switch and high beams come on over top of it.

I'm confused. The sport has quad beams, meaning one set of lights for low and another set for high, correct? (4 bulbs total) Yet you bought a bi-xenon set, which has high and low in the same bulb, correct? You wasted money if you did. I agree with Johnn123 about putting HID's in non-HID housings, but you should have just bought the normal, single HID kit for the different high and low size bulbs.

You ask the question "Do the high and low beams run off two different bulbs in the housing?"....did you not even look at your headlights before ordering the HID's to see how many bulbs are there?

Mmmm nope the two 9007 outside bulbs are L/H and the two inner bulbs are just high beams.

Might be from Hawaii or a region with island chains. Ya gotta go where the work is, and you can't always bring the truck.
