So my transmission started slipping and I put some Lucas in it and it has helped a little
What it does is this
First and second gear are a bit slow to take off and switch
A but if hi revving and a look shuttering from the tranny
I'm quite sure I have the 46re
It has the 5.2l and about 145000 miles
Sometimes it doesn't send to have and y issues for a couple minutes or so then they start
S of today the when I got home it would not go into reverse from neutral to drive to first and second they all allowed the truck to move forward when selected but nothing for reverse played with the great selector and then have up for now
I've heard of a few different diagnosis but just not sure what to look for with some things like the throttle cable and the tv cable I think it was
I want to drop the pan and check for and shavings or anything
Also make sure all calls are adjusted accordingly
So any and all advice is much appreciated

 

I forgot to mention that when I'm add higher speeds it seems to work the way it is supposed to
