Default 2001 dodge ram 2500 engine

I am looking at buying a 2001 ram 2500 with an automatic 5.9 liter 6 cylinder engine. I was wondering if this was a good reliable motor, or if it had problems. anyone that can help me with some input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

5.9 cummins? Indestructible. Can't kill the thing

5.9l magnum? Almost indestructible,

Cummins is definetly the winner
