Hi. I'm new to the forum as of today. I have a 1998 3500 that is making a loud pop when going over uneven ground, especially with a camper on. It will also do it without the camper. I also get the same noise when braking somewhat hard right before a stop, or when accelerating somewhat hard after a stop. Can't visually see any problems. Sounds like it's under the bed towards rear end. Any ideas would be appreciated.

 

I'd start with an inspection of your shocks and also the rear suspension.

 

i have a pop from my left rear when going over humps or ditches. i think its from the rear leaf spring but have never figured out why.
