Merc or another Canadian needs to chime in, Canada required DRL just not sure what year it started. So just because it isn't an option here doesn't mean it isn't an option somewhere else.

I think she is talking about one of the Holley throttle bodies they sell.

Sorry you gave up so soon. Hopefully the shop can figure out the issue before they rack up tons of diagnostic hours. It can get real expensive.

Ok missed this thread, anyway yes these trucks did come with drl I have them (not working) but I think it started in the late 80's or early 90's. The drl module is mounted on the drivers side inner fender kinda close to the firewall, 2x3 black box.

 

they haven't start on it yet but ill keep you guys posted
