Default Rim offset

I have a 98 dodge ram 1500 4x4
I am putting a 3 inch rough country suspension lift
I want 18 inch rims (offset) and big mud tires
Can I fit 35s ? And how wide of a rim can I fit ?

35's with three inch lift stand a good chance of rubbing on the back side of the bumper, the inside of the fender well at the rear, and, depending on wheel choice, probably on the control arm at full lock as well.

You might be able to pull the bumper forward some, you can 're-shape' the inner fender well, and might get enough clearance....

Don't think I would go any wider than 10" on rims, and 4 to 5 inches backspacing. That would minimize rubbing......

5" lift with 35's would be better, but, lift costs go up DRAMATICALLY after 3".....

33" on 8 or 9 inch rims would go in there really nice.

8 or 9 inch wide, whatever wheel diameter you like (so long as your tires end up at right around 33" overall diameter) 4 to 5 inch backspacing.

And just to make sure you understand the terms, here is a nice pic.
