Default oil in intake but its clean

ok so my truck has been chugging at times my cel light is on .
i replaced iac, pcv and axhaust components . i belive the cat is gutted sounds pretty hollow. i looked in the throttle body today to check for the plenum leak as most get. there is oil in there but its all clean oil so seems like it not leaking to me i may be wrong, but clean seems fine to me. should i suck it out or still replace the whole thing, its the oem plate did the magnet check.

any other suggestions, i just bought it and needs to pass echeck here soon. please help

ram girl!

Replace it, and make sure the cat is really gutted, or replace it too. As well as o2 sensors.

If your cat is gutted, it will certainly not pass echeck, if you are referring to emissions inspection. What is the code for? If it is O2, you could probably get by with the fouler trick,, but we need to know what the code is.

With all the guys with gutted cats., "test pipes", etc. I wouldn't worry about it. The cheap, easy fix for Harris County is...bootleg sticker, I've had several in the past when living there. Might be an option for the OP as well, depending on the location.
If the emissions problem isn't gonna be fixed, and the problem is the sticker, it's just a matter of choosing which law you're gonna break.
Buncha outlaws here.

oil in the intake but it's clean oil. There shouldn't be oil in there to begin with?...Def sounds like a blown plenum to me, especially with the OEM plate! I'd look to get that fixed when possible. These other guys are providing you good info as well. Good luck!
