Default Custom 4" lift. Opinions?

Hello! I want to lift my 98 Ram more than 3" but less than 5", too bad no one offers a 4" lift for these trucks. So I took it upon myself to find and gather together the right parts to lift it 4 inches. I was hoping you guys would look and see if there was anything I missed or anything else I might need.

*Skyjacker 2" 2500,3500 lift coil springs
Tuff Country 2" add a leaf
Skyjacker Sway bar bracket
Tuff Country Track bar bracket
Rough Country Pitman Arm
Skyjacker Nitro 8000 shocks
*Tuff country lower control arms
*Tuff country upper control arms

Now all together that comes to Right at $800 shipped, which I don't think is too bad. Did I miss anything?

Also, Will 4" of lift look alright with 33's? Thanks!

I think that should work. I've got a 3 inch skyjacker lift with a 2 inch spacer to give me 5 inch front and 3 inch rear. You may run into problems because you don't have longer control arms. I'm not sure about that

honestly man, id do the 3" suspenion lift and see what you think, then you can go from there, with 33s it would look perfect. you can always add more inches, but just think if you go to high then your like ewww then you gotta get bigger tires and possible rims to make it look right...

and anything over 3" you gonna start need longer control arms and drop brackets and longer brake lines... trust me just do the 3" and see what you think. there isa more to it than your thinking.

Well man I know for a fact I want more than 3 inches but I also know I don't want 5 inches. I know 4 would be perfect for what I want and I'm sure it'll look good with the wheels and tires I have now. Also, if I got the 3" just to add inches it'd end up costing more than just 4" straight away.

I've found different parts and also found some control arms I could use

I just want to know if that's everything I'll need to lift it. You mentioned longer brake lines? But no lift kits come with brake lines so will I actually need that for 4"? That's the first I've heard of it.

4" you should still be ok with the brake line but 5" or above you need them for flexing.

how exactly you going to get the 4" you going to do a 3" lift and then add a leaf in the back and a little spacer up front? or what?

Originally I was going to do 3" coil spring and 1 inch spacer up front but then someone told me that 2" lift springs for the 2500 and 3500 are good for 4"-4.5" on my 1500 so I'm gonna have that up front and a 2 inch AAL in the rear.

I edited the top list to what I'm planning on using now.

so your not wanting 4" in the back? so your really just wanting a 2" lift and to level it at the same time, then yea that will work. and also you make want to look at longer sway bar links i cant remember i0f they max at 3" or not. and maybe drop brakets for the track bar and pitman arm.

I'm fairly certain Tuff Country makes a 4" lift for our trucks. Also 35s will look much better with a 4" lift, but I don't know your financial situation.

They make a 4.5" and its just with spacers, which I don't want. I can't do 35's until I regear which won't be until late next year. I've seen 3-5" lifts with 33's and I know it'll look fine and perform well.

Buy yourself some new control arm bolts and cam bolts for the bottom front control arm bolts. Short arms suck once your above about 3in. If you plan to go bigger then do short arms now but go long arms in the end. Much better flex, ride, and performance. When it comes to the sway bar, just take it off and be done with it, in my opinion. I have not been running one for 5 years on 37s and its a pretty nice ride.
