Default Windshield wiper question

In the last two times I've had to use my windshield wipers, when the go back to rest or are on a low speed, the get stuck about a foot from the bottom of my windshield or all the way up. The only time they work properly is at high speed....I'm not sure if the gears are stripped a bit or what. Anybody know whats goin on?

If I shut mine off in delay, low, high, and if I hit the wash button, they usually stop in a random spot on the glass. Then I have to turn them on to delay, wait for them to go to the resting position, then shut them off. When they do it its like they slowly twitch to a stop somewhere on the glass.

I sorta figured, but a weird thing this morning, it was lightly snowing but I had water on the top of my truck..so I wiped off the water on my windshield, motor was on delay, there was no water or anything on my windshield, the wiper went up and seemed like they got caught on the windshield, as if they needed water to go through the whole cycle. Is that just the motor going out still?

^yes, motor is bad.
specifically, its the "park circuit" in the motor that it supposed to stop the motor only in the down position. so when the intermittent control sends a 1/2 second pulse to the motor, or when you shut them off anywhere in the cycle, its supposed to drive the wiper arm back down and then stop.

if you want to learn more about it, you can remove the wiper arms and cowl cover and unplug the motor's electrical connector. you'll have to do this anyway to replace it. then you can test for voltage on the low speed wire, then the high speed wire, and then the park circuit wire which in "on" any time the other 2 are on. it might???? be the blue wire. once you've verified you have power on the park circuit and the motor still doesn't stop in the right place, then you can replace the motor.

Do a search with my name... I did a huge battle with those wiper motors and I think I documented most of it like I normally do on here.
