Well while im driving my truck(has5.2L) going a steady speed sometimes the truck surges up like 250 rpms the truck doesn't speed up it stays the same speed and sometimes when it surges up it will stay 250 rpms higher for a minute then go back down....and I have no clue what could cause this..any ideas?

 

TCC locking/unlocking probably. Replace the TPS. (throttle position sensor.)

 

Disconnect negative battery cable before replacing or cleaning any electrical sensors/parts.
