Default I'm new, and got a couple of electrical questions.

Ok, well hi everybody, This is my first post, so bear with me.

I just got a 95 Half ton 4wd Dodge with a 360 and 77,000 miles, the truck belonged to my Uncle who ordered it new, and it is truly like a brand new truck, except for two little issues, the drivers window will not roll down, and the radio is dead.

Firstly, the window
Apparently it used to work occasionally, but now it does nothing. I don't think the gears are stripped, it has no interest in coming down. I think the motor is burnt out. Could it be anything else?

Next, the radio.
It does light up, but will not display the clock or anything, no stations, no static. I tried two other radios in it, neither worked. I checked the in-line fuse, good, I also checked the PCM fuse, good, and the fuseblock, it was good, as was the I.O.D. fuse.
What else could be the problem?
Also, I have a 94 2wd One ton Cummins that I looked over quite a few times, and It's radio works, and I can't find any differences with the wiring or fuses, I even put the radio out of it in the half ton, and it didn't work in it.

Thanks, hope to get to know you guys.

I can`t help with the radio, but for the power window its either going to be the motor or the switch.

When I got my 2000 ram the power window on the driver side would work sometimes, and other times not at all. It ended up being a bad switch. I found a replacement on ebay and that fixed the problem.

Radio gets power on two wires. Pink wire in pin 7 should be hot at all times. Red wire with white trace is hot with the ignition in run, or accessory positions. Both need to work.

Well, for the radio I lost some patience and threw a boombox in the back seat, that works for right now.

I did mess with the window though, I can roll the passenger side window down from the drivers side, but not the drivers window. So I took the switch out and swapped it for the one out of my Cummins, and no luck, So I guess I'm going to have to get a new window motor, Does anybody know what they are going for now? and how much of a pain is it to switch one out?

I think everything is just bolted in place, so, no rivets to deal with at least. (unless mine had been changed before I stripped the door....)

Looks like you can get motor with regulator for around 70 bucks from Advance.
