Default CB radio

IF anyone interested. I bought this little cb from radioshack and I desided to mount in in the ash try and it fits almost perfect. Theres just alittle space on each side but it looks fine to me. I think it looks good like its suppost to be there. I'll get some pics if anyone interested?

That looks nice and is fine and dandy if you have a 97 and below but for 98 and above it ain't quite that easy. I've had the cb delima for quite somettime and still haven't came up with a good idea.

Nevermind I thought you ment a different place. Mine is a 98, I screwed it to the bottom side of the fold down cup holder.

I have had my Cobra 29 in my truck since day 1. This was the best install I could come up with, both for ease of use and being out of the way. It fits right next to the 4x4 shifter. The nice thing is that I didn't have to drill any holes to put it in. I used velcro loop tape on the bottom of the board, and it sticks nicely to the carpet. The external speaker faces forward, as the CB speaker is on the bottom and would be muffled. I have a "truckers hook" on my mike, and it hangs off of my plug-in for my radar detector. The only drawback to this setup is soda spillage from the cupholder once in a while.........Please excuse the uncleanliness of my interior - I don't spend too much time cleaning - just driving........I have used a K-40 antenna for years, and love it. The cool thing about it is that the coil and whip are on a twist-lock base so you can remove the antenna easily if you go in a parking garage or car wash.
