Brake line question

i did the same thing when mine blew, and i wheeled the **** out of it, and never lost a drop. and the brakes never were a prob again. say what you want, but as long as its flared and sealed correctly with the right size fitting, i dont think its a prob.

I don't have a problem with flare fittings/unions. They work great, and are perfectly safe. It's the compression fittings that are dangerous.

yea thats what i did was use a union and flared the ends and all. turned a 300$ fix into a 3$ fix

Nothing wrong with that at all. That's done right. Double flare btw.
