Default 99 dodge ram 1500 5.7 v8

I just bought this truck. Engine sounds great but on the highway it bogs when you accerate, like something is holding back. Appreciate any help. Srrhenow

Moved this to the tech section for ya.

Read the plenum sticky at the top of this forum. That's gonna be where ya need to start.

Also, you have a 5.2, or 5.9. No 5.7's in 2nd gens.

I did some tests and found vaccum in crank case . I ordered a plenum repair kit from hughs. Thanks for you help.
