Build date for my truck is 2-96 and it has the 46re in it. Yes 96 is a odd ball year for many parts.

What's the build/production date (month/year) for your '96 truck? Mine is 11-95..

AtomicDog I agree with you... After I spoke with my (technical) mechanic:he said this is when Dodge was toying with becomeing better wherever they could've. Obviously for the tranny was an extra solenoid, some more wiring and a od button placement change. Itll cost me about $1,400 to $1,800 to rebuild my Rh.... so be it, best things in life dont come easy nor free. Well this ram was free, but anyways.... Thanks y'all
