Thanks guys truck will be getting a rebuild with a PATC level 3 combo kit and TC. I also will be adding an oil cooler, external oil filter and maybe a deep pan. Haven't decided on the deep pan. Anyone running a deep pan or should I skip it?

Truck is 2001 1500 5.2 no engine mods besides running Amsoil has 3.55 gears and 315/75r16 BFG AT, one day I'll regear. When the engine decides to go I will probably throw in a crate motor and build one with original block. I was wondering about what stall I should get as on PATC site they show 1800 is for 4wd vehicles. When I talked to someone at PATC they said they would get a 2200 stall as the 5.2 torque is 300 ft lb. at 3200rpm according to dodgeram.org.

My rebuilt 46RH uses this deep pan to help keep it nice and cool.

Do the deep pan with high stall TC, more oil will help keep the temp down.
