Default Mopar PCM for 01 5.9 mag auto?

Does anyone know if mopar offers a mopar performance PCM for the 01 5.9mag auto? I see they have them for early to mid 90's but not 01. is there any other aftermarket PCMs besides mopar? My PCM I replaced just a year ago throw the P0601 code again and now I need a new one, but I don't want to deal with these crappy PCMs anymore. (my buddy's jeep had to have his replaced also.)

The 96 and up PCM's are OBDII, they can be re-flashed to change programming. There were 'performance' PCMs offered for earlier years, as they did NOT have the capability of being flashed. Only option was a different PCM, or, sending it out to have it done.

That said, a failed PCM is a failed PCM. Simply reprogramming it won't fix it. Replacement is your only option. You could get one from the dealer, but, they are pushing four figures for those..... Your best bet might be to just get one from your local parts store. It should come pre-programmed for your vin, and if there are issues with it, you have a local store to go to, and get it dealt with.

I put a Dorman rebuild from autozone in my last dodge. It was around $200.
