1500 dodge ram finding part for chasis

Default 1500 dodge ram finding part for chasis

I have 1996 dodge 1500 4 wheel drive 5.9 liter
there is a cross member in the rear of truck its all rotted out cant seem to find one on line . one of the rear shocks bolt up to it.
any help would be nice.
all so it looks like its bolted ,no welding needed?

You can download the 96 parts book in the diy area, I looked and I see many crossmembers listed, so you need to find the one you are referring to in there. Chances are the dealer will not have one so auto wrecker time.

Post a picture of the piece in question. If it matches the one on my wrecked 1500 and isn't a PITA to remove, I'll let you know.
