my oil pressure will drop to nothing when I get in the gas, but will jump back up again when I let off. Anyone else have this problem?

 

How long has it been like this? if you have no noises (rod knock) then swap out your oil pressure sensor and check the wiring. it's located next to the distributor on the passenger side of the motor. the sensor will start to leak and when pressure builds up, it'll stop working. I had this problem on my Jeep grand cherokee a few years back. You'll need a special socket that you can buy at most auto parts stores.
