What are some reliable HID Kits?
Hello!
Over the past 10 years I've had a few kits however they seem to have gotten very cheap lately.
Can anyone recommend a good brand that doesn't flicker or burn out after just a month or so?
This for a 2001 Ram non-Sport with the single beam headlights.

I personally don't like these new one piece headlights for the 2nd gens. There's a certain detail that is lost. Also, they look like they're better off on Hondas.
Today I just swapped the fogs for 880 yellows just to see a difference and will likely go yellow hid for fogs and likely 6-8k for the beams.
Before all that, I want to actually find a nice pair of headlamps. I want something that looks stock but has a nice and perfectly transparent surface.

5000-6000 is the best for actually increasing the "brightness" that we see. Above 6000 you start getting into the blue side of the light spectrum.

I replaced my stock headlight assemblies with these projector headlight assemblies.

I'd like to replace my bulbs with HIDs, too.

I found out that if you're using an aftermarket housing, you should only use the 35w kit which is nice. If you can go back to the stock housing, you can safely use the 55W without damagingly the housing itself.
In reality, it comes down to the material used and quality grade of plastic.
