Max Speed Without O/D?
I just acquired a small pop-up camper (less than 1000 pounds). I know never to tow in overdrive.
Just want to see what speed I should limit myself to with overdrive locked out. I towed it home at 60-65mph on the highway, and it felt fine. I just want to make sure running the truck at ~2500 rpm for a 1-2 hour trip or more won't cause any issues.
I probably wouldn't go any faster than that anyway (I don't really do more than 70 unloaded).
Any thoughts are appreciated!

Don't look at speed, instead look at only RPM. My truck has no overdrive so I have no choice but to go under 60mph. I recommend you go no higher than 2,500 RPM. Staying at between 2k and 2.5k will be good for torque and keeping the engine from screaming.
Between 2 and 3K rpm for extended periods won't hurt the engine. (in fact, it may actually like it, as it helps clear carbon from the cylinders....) Much faster though, and sure, you can do it, for as long as you can afford..... (SUCKS gas.)
