Oh... so if I buy a used one it won't start my truck until the vin has been burned into it?

If so that would suck, I've been trying to avoid towing it into town at a cost of $150+ this whole time.

It will run but you will get a cel until it's vin matched at the dealer.

Do you have any idea what code it will throw so I can eliminate that from any other potential problems that might have fried my original PCM?

I finally got my hands on a 347AD computer and fired right up and ran strong thank god

its fixed but now my trans front seal is leaking from sitting and being dry.... fml
