what i was wanting to know is a friend of mine had a leveling kit for his old dodge and gave it to me (never used) its a daystar coil spacer with the numbers M20224 stamped what is the lift height for the lift gonna be? do I need extended shocks? Ride quality? any body have any pics with this particular one installed? any info will help Thanks

Most of the spacer lifts your gonna find are 2"....longer shocks are definitely going to give better ride quality and are a good idea, but not required if you're only putting the spacers in. Any time you alter the stock suspension geometry the ride quality is going to be affected unless extreme care is taken to install parts that allow the suspension to return to factory geometry (long arms, track bar alteration, longer shocks, etc.). For only a 2" spacer kit, you likely won't notice much difference if you go to longer, tougher shocks

Easiest thing to do about the height would be to ask your friend. Or you can measure them from the top to the inside of the coil "pocket".

As far as shocks, it'll depend on the lift. I have 2" spacers and use stock length shocks.

Its also possible that your springs have worn down over the years and the spacers will just put you back up to the stock height and then your shock length will be fine
