Default Do I have an electrical problem?

2001 Dodge Ram, 5.2L,4x4

I have had some weird things happening. First I got the P0123 code. Changed the TPS-twice and the truck does the same thing. Also cleaned the throttle body. It stutters. Next when I used the signal lights, they would flash a few times and quit. The colder It got the worse it got. Replaced the signal switch. It in proved, but not quite right. Now at -20+ it won't work at all.
I am thinking I have a short some where. I am a lousy electrical person, so if someone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.
I have talked to the local garage (small town) but he can't get it in for a couple weeks.
Thank you in advance.

replace the flasher unit in the fuse block on the side of the dash. That should fix your turnsignals.

Check the connectors at the PCM for the TPS. You can download the 01 factory service manual from the faq section here. (in the service manual thread.)

If the PCM isn't seeing the correct readings from the TPS, it will give you some odd behavior.

Moving this to the tech section for you as well.
