Smile 2000 Ram 2500 dies when you tilt steering.

I have a 2000 Ram 2500 with a V10. For awhile it would shut kill the radio when you tilted the steering. Then it started killing everything when you tilted the steering. Now it just plain does nothing! I have heard that there was a possible recall on a short in the steering column causing this but I can't seem to find anything on it! I was wondering if anyone had any info on this problem and if not a recall where I should start! Thank you

Probably pinched wires in the column. It's fairly common. Pull the plastic covers off and take a look.
