It's the big black plastic thing that sits on top of your motor and has that air filter thingy inside it.

I know this is in responce to your other thread but to me it sounds more like a belt problem. If you have not messed with the intake it should not be loose. I would look at your belts carefully check for any cracks wear things like that you could even put some belt dressing and see if it helps.

My humble opinion on that belt dressing stuff is that it is too messy. I've used it before (probably a bit too liberally) and had it go everywhere. I don't remember where I read it (Popular Mechanics maybe), but when my belt squeaks, I use a bar of soap, and CAREFULLY apply it to the belt along the ribs, while the engine is running. Shuts it right up and will keep it that way for a few hundred miles until I can replace the belt. Haven't had to do it on my Ram though. She's been a very good rig and doesn't cause me much grief. My Chevy on the other hand..............................well, wrong forum for that one!!!

Regarding the belt issue, check your belt tensioner on the passenger side of the motor, if it's bad you can have a squeel as well. it should easily adjust if you slap a 15mm wrench on it and move it so it loosens the belt. if not and it's tight, your belt may be loose causing a squeel... this part is pretty cheep if I recall, less than $45 bux at the dealer.
