Default 2000 1500 Brake Rotor Replacement

Do I have to remove the axle nut on the 2000 to replace the brake rotors? I have read conflicting information.

I guess there was a brake change at some point around the 2000 models.

Also, what rotors have been used with success?

Thanks!

Well a sure fire way to find out is take the wheel off. Take some pressure off the caliper and if you can wobble the rotor back and forth you have to newer style hubs.
An easier way to tell is if you have a dust cover over the hub nut and its packed with grease you have the older hubs.
