4x4 won't engage

Default 4x4 won't engage

4x4 won't engage. No light on the dash either
Where do I start looking. Vacuum lines ?

Yep, check for vacuum at the cad first. If you don't have it there, find it where it goes missing. (usually up at the manifold, the plastic lines get brittle with age, and break.)

Does it shift into position okay? I had a hole in a single short vacume line above the transfer case that took me three or four looks to find. The other vacume lines are pretty visable and run to the actuator.
