replacing the center support bearing need help

Default replacing the center support bearing need help

so i have orderd a new center support bearing and all new u joints i know how to do the u joints and i have got the center support bearing off of the drive shaft with my gear puller but im guessing the new one wont just glide on any one on here replace one them selves and have any advise for me on that? also i got the new timken HB88107B

It has been so long since I changed out one of those and I sure don't miss changing them out, I think I used to put the hanger bearing in the freezer overnight then install it on the DS the next day. I am sure others will chime in soon enough with tips.

did you clean up the shaft with sandpaper? and did it just slide on or did you need to hammer it on?

Most deff clean up the shaft using whatever you have on hand. Most just slid on but others were just a royal pita to deal with.
