Default 2001 dodge ram

I have a 01 dodge ram 1500 2wd with a 5 speed. When I have the truck in gear and hold the clutch in the clutch slowly gets loose and the begins to move forward. Does the clutch just need adjusted? If so how do u adjust it? It's done this since I bought the truck with only 68000 miles

If that is a hydraulic clutch? Check the fluid level, otherwise throwout bearing going bad maybe. Original clutch?

Sounds more like a hydraulic problem to me. Leaking seals in either the master, or slave cylinder, letting fluid bleed past, so the clutch slowly engages.

It has the original clutch in it. It is a hydraulic clutch. I was thinking it might be a bad slave where is the slave cylinder located on this?
