Default fender flares

so my inspection runs out at the end of this month, my tires stick out maybe an inch or two and im told i will need fender flares. only problem is my tires rub on my nerf bars. im not sure if adding fender flares will then cause the tires to rub on the flares as well. so my question is for you guys with fender flares can you post pictures particularly behind the tire.

do the flares only add depth off the side of the truck or do they go in the wheel well ?

What size tires do you have If they hit your bars surely they will hit fender flares

Those are 33s? Why cant you clear 33s with a 4in lift? What size rims do you have?

Just a thought, got anyone that has another Ram with stock wheels you could swap with for the inspection? I used to do that when I had tires that would not pass. Swap with someone, get it inspected and swap them back.

when i had the 4 inch lift, everything cleared fine. i needed some money so i took it off and then the tires started rubing on the lower trac bars when i would turn hard. so i went and got some wheel spacers, and now they rub on the nerf bars(side steps, runner boards whatever you wanna call em) which is allot better than the trac bars. but come to think of it, im not even sure if a shop can pass a vehicle if the tires are rubbing at all. what a pain in the ***, might just have to take the nerf bars off for the inspection. as far as swaping wheels, i dont know anyone i could do that with unfortunately. good idea though
