Default any ideas? im at a loss

97 ram 5.9 4x4 160k
This is a randomly occurring issue...
Truck lunges and idle reduces from stoplight under any acceleration (nice & easy or full throttle) kinda like it cuts in and out 5-6 times then goes on it's merry way. As it does this the cel, gen light, and the on light for the cruise control flashes and goes away as soon as the truck decides to get going. No codes are showing either. Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for any ideas.

You have a bad electrical connection somewhere. And apparently, a pretty important one. Start checking the major cables. Battery, grounds, etc. See what you find.
