Point taken. But if you WORK with your truck, i would never get a body lift.

And I have a 5inch lift on top of a 2inch bl and the brake lines are pretty tight. I can flex about 2 1/2 inches before I rip the brake line apart.

Might as well go for the body lift if you want a cheapo lifto or replace that 2.5 lift with a 5inch lift assuming you want 5inches of lift.
im def interested in that 3 inch lift. is it a complete set? what brand? you should pm the details.

Anybody here using a Fabtech long arm 5"? They say you need to modify front driveshaft but never clarify what needs to be done, and where can you get longer brake lines? Mine are already stretched at full turn on a 2.5" level lift can't imagine going higher

Not sure why the front drive shaft would need to be modified, unless that kit has an extreme amount of droop. I've used BDS suspensions and at 7" of lift no problems, but at 8" and full droop the front drive shaft would pull apart at the splines. As far as the brake lines, I just rotate the bracket on the upper control arm bracket 90 degrees. If yours are already stretched maybe it was put on backwards?

How'd you get 7" of lift? I can only ever find 5" kits. I'm gonna look at those brake line mounts later on

Skyjacker makes a 7" lift, but it's pricey. I just used 5" lift coils with a 2 inch spacer, saved me about 1,000 bucks.
