Check your local laws, you may be legally required to have a cat. I wouldn't leave it like that for long... your gonna get exhaust fumes coming up into the cab. I think legally you need tail pipe going past the cab. WHat did you do about the o2's?

I have one 02 sensor and that is plugged into a straight pipe on the passenger side exhaust...I have to have a cat but no cop writes a ticket here in NY for not having one. No law about where the exhaust ends. I drive with the windows down anyway cuz I use the truck for landscaping. runs really nice I gotta say

It's federal law to have catalytic converter. Will a run of the mills cop check if it's there or not must likely not. Here in Maryland emission inspectors sometimes check with a mirror to see if you have a cat and if it's an OBD-1 vehicle they will hook it up to a sniffer test.

As far no tailpipe, I have no idea. But I know for Maryland inspection you have to have tailpipe of some sort to pass.

All I have on mine is a the factory cat a Cherry Bomb glasspack 2 1/2 in/out and a Cherry Bomb extreme 2 1/2 in and dual 2 1/4 out. I love the sound it's loud enough for me and it doesn't have that annoying raspy hollow sound like a straight pipe exhaust has.

I say do what you want with your exhaust. Just know that the louder it is the more attention it gets and sometimes that attention gets you pulled over.

Lets see some pix of this system.

If I could/did that up here I might as well drive it over to the police station and hand them my keys, it would be less hassle.

I can get some better picture when I have some daylight. Everyone knows how well cell phones take pictures with little to no light.

Only time anyone looks for a cat around here, is in counties where they do emissions testing. No one else cares. I have never had a cop look for my cat.

Got cha just looked like it was directed to me only being a few minutes after mine.

But anyways I wanted to get rid of much of the raspy/high pitch sound as possible and the cherry bomb extreme doesn't have any packing it's just a little wing plate. I could have got away with a y pipe in the back but I have heard other Rams around here with just a glass pack and they had that raspy sound I was trying to get away from.
