Default 47RE help, please.

I have a 98 Ram 2500 v10 with the 47re and I am certain I need to R&R it.

Have reverse no forward gears.

So the question is.. when I head down to u-pull-it will the 47re work out of a Ram 2500 CTD and if so.. what years are compatible?

Thanks Ahead of time..

and yes I have been searching the net like crazy and can't seem to find a straight answer, so I asked here. No one here has sent me astray yet!

I do believe they are the same bolt pattern (V-10, and diesel). I would verify output shaft diameter, and spline count though. (not sure on those, might be the same)

Anything 96 to 02 should work. For the 99 and up, (or maybe it was 00 and up...) would need to change electronics in the trans, as the pinouts for the connector changed.
