Default Intake manifold question

I have a quick question, I was reading another recent post and it was talking about the 98 and up rams having no divider in the intake, mine is a 98 and definately has a divider in the middle of the intake, I know from when I did my plenum, was my truck maybe one of the first to roll off the line that year and maybe were they using up the older intakes? Or something else? This has me puzzled

I have a 96 that still has the provision for the EGR valve on the back... even though it wasn't used in 96. You may have an early model, easy enough to check the manufacture date on the drivers door frame. Of course, there is always the real possibility that I was wrong on that, and the divider went away in a later year.

I've run into this problem before, the PO or someone down the line has taken that sticker off, I got a build sheet for the truck and it's lost in my 10000 emails now, I guess I should order another one

I wonder if I swapped in a non divider manifold then if I would see an increase in power, I think I need to open it back up anyways because I'm pretty sure the plenum is leaking again, because of improper torquing on the bolts on my part, but I wonder if I got one from the jy if it would be worth the cost of it to swap it over

I got my spare for 25 bucks. Mine was off of a 97 though, so, no egr, but, the divider was still there. Sawzall fixed that.

The pic a part in Indianapolis only wants like 26 bucks for one, I'll just go that route if I decide to, and I ordered a new build sheet so we'll see when it was made
